Recently, the International Textile Manufacturers Association (hereinafter referred to as: the International Spinning Union) and German Textile Machinery Association invited, Association of China's Textile industry delegation to visit Germany and Spain, to attend the International Spinning Textile Machinery workshop, visit the technical textiles and non-woven exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany, and visit the local scientific research institutions, textiles and clothing brand enterprise. 

The International Textile Machinery Symposium is a traditional conference of the international textile federation, which is hosted by Switzerland, Germany and the Italian textile machine association. Representatives of the member states of the international textile federation and representatives of the major manufacturers of textile machinery in the world were invited to attend the meeting, and exchanged in-depth views on the current situation and development of textile industry, especially in the textile machinery industry. This year's meeting took place on May 8 in Frankfurt, Germany, where 152 industry representatives from nearly 20 countries and regions attended the meeting. 

The President of the China Textile Industry Federation and vice President of the International Textile Federation were invited to speak at the meeting to discuss the present situation and future of the textile industry in China. China's textile industry is at a critical juncture in its transformation and upgrading, he said. The growth of China's textile economy is slowing, the cost is rising, which is in line with the law of economic development and reflects the deepening of China's textile transformation and upgrading. Textile machinery is an important support for China's textile transformation and upgrading. 

About the development of China's textile industry, industry development is no longer a zero-sum game, cooperation has become an important source of competitive advantage, to set up new industry development: from the attention to seek cooperative competition, from single to multiple ecological structure, from forced to adapt to the initiative innovation, from the emphasis on has to attach importance to sharing, from interest guide to responsibility. China's textile industry development should focus on the following four aspects: one is rich industrial supply, promote environmental adaptation ability, take the market, capital, network, technology, culture, and communities in an effective and diverse industry supply; The second is to improve the supporting system, upgrade the industry carrying capacity, upgrade the industrial structure, service and innovative infrastructure, improve the efficiency of the industry and unleash the vitality of industrial innovation. Three is deepening intelligent manufacturing, flexible production capacity, improve the implementation of "made in China 2025", promote the application and integration of management information system, and accelerate the construction of management, standards, and credit system, promote the management process, personnel quality and intelligent manufacturing system on the synergy; Four is to carry out the social responsibility, promote the sustainable development ability, promoting social responsibility, and optimize the supply chain construction, enhance the capacity of green manufacturing, develop green products, to create green plant, building a green campus, perfecting the supporting system for the green manufacturing. 

The conference has announced that the next international textile machinery workshop will be held in Zurich, Switzerland in April 2018 and will be hosted by the Swiss textile machinery association.
