  • Q: Which yarn and fabric species can our high-speed rapier looms weave?

    A: Sinotextile high speed rapier loom can be adapted to weaving cotton, wool, silk, linen, jute, polyester and so on, short fiber range 5~1166tex, filament yarn range 5~5000dtex, weight range 20~1500gsm. Fabric species includes denim, silk tie, label, leno fabric, jacquard fabric, curtain, bed sheet, shirting, fiberglass, flat yarn cloth for industrial use and so on. 

  • Q: How to calculate rapier loom production?

    A: Rapier loom production can be calculated by—
    Hourly production=loom rpm x weft density(picks per cm) x 60 x efficiency/100
    Suppose loom speed is 600rpm, weft density is 15picks/cm, efficiency is 95%, then the hourly production will be 600/16x60x95%/100=21.375 meters
